Greenline

Brookline’s guide to plant-based dining.

For my design class, I created GreenLine—a digital service that helps people find vegetarian and vegan food options around Brookline, MA. The name plays on both the MBTA Green Line and Brookline's name, while also nodding to the plant-based focus.

Being vegetarian myself, this project felt personal. I spent quite a bit of time researching local restaurants, discovering which places had great plant-based options that weren't always obvious from their main menu. It was eye-opening to find so many hidden gems in the area!

I handled everything from the initial concept through to the finished product—naming, logo design, and building out the website and app interfaces in Figma.

The design needed to be straightforward: letting people easily find restaurants based on their dietary needs, preferred cuisines, and location. Looking back, there are definitely things I'd improve now, but I'm genuinely proud of how it turned out for a school project.

What made this project special was creating something I'd actually want to use myself. That motivation helped me push through the challenging parts of the design process.
