We set out to solve a familiar problem: the way books pull you into their worlds—except for your senses. What if scent could bridge that gap? Inspired by classic literature, we developed a concept for a collection of novel-inspired fragrances, designed to subtly enhance the reading experience and deepen emotional connection to a story.
But it wasn’t just about the scents. We imagined packaging and beautifully crafted bottles designed to fit right into a personal library, creating a seamless blend of storytelling and sensory immersion.
Working through this idea with literary scholars and master perfumers (in theory, at least), we explored how scent could shape the way we experience stories—bringing books to life in a whole new way.
