The Power of Home


For Marguerite’s Place’s Power of Home Gala in October 2025, I led the full event design suite while at Kelly Creative, in partnership with Purple Finch Events. One of my favorite parts was developing the “90 Days to Home” storytelling experience — a thread that tied together every element of the evening.

Guests were first introduced to the narrative during cocktail hour, where each sign highlighted a different “day” in a family’s journey toward stability — from Day 1, walking through the doors of transitional housing, to Day 90, finding independence and confidence. Later in the evening, that same visual language and emotional tone carried through the dinner menu and program, reinforcing how every stage of Marguerite’s Place’s work builds toward lasting change.
